In work poverty
Employers should be encouraged to become a 'Living Wage employer' and consider providing their staff with support and information to help alleviate financial difficulties. What practical support or information could employers provide?
Why the contribution is important
We would like employers in the city to think about how they could support their staff who may be experiencing poverty. This could be a commitment to paying the Living Wage but might also be about providing support or information.
